Lewis Diankulu is a winner. The 6’7 forward has taken the unconventional route to get to where he is today. Diankulu is someone anyone would want on their team, he has a high motor, he’s versatile, he brings a winning attitude to work everyday and he has been active in any community he’s been a part of during his pro career.
Diankulu came from humble beginnings and found himself at one of the best division 2 schools in America after 2 years at mcCook community college where he is second in all time rebounding and firs in offensive rebounding.
After playing at McCook Community college Diankulu would head to Queens university to play under Queens all time winningest coach Bart Lundy. During his 2 years at Queens, Diankulu would be named second team all-conference in his senior year, become an all tournament selection, reach the NCAA elite 8 and NCAA final four & finish with an all time record of 65-8.
Lewis recently finished his last year in the NBLD1 where he had a double double in 12 out of 14 games & averaged 21.5 points per game and 11.8 rebounds. His season highs on the year were 18 points, 23 rebounds, 25 points and 16 rebounds, 25points, 21 rebounds, 35 points,13 rebounds and 32 points and 11 rebounds. Diankulu is a high motor, versatile forward who finishes extremely well around the rim and uses his 7’2 wing span to block or contest every shot.
Diankulu made the most out of his opportunity in London where he is now receiving interest from several teams in Europe. Diankulu is steady improving and climbing his way up the pro ladder. Lewis Diankulu is a high character athlete and a winner, he would be a great edition to any CEBL teams this summer, keep him on your radar.
