Am I one of the Top 100 players in Canada?
Am I one of the Top 100 players in Canada?
Not necessarily.
The Northway Top 100 is the name of our scouting and exposure camp, not an official ranking of Canada’s top 100 basketball players.
Our camps provide athletes with an opportunity to compete, demonstrate their abilities, and receive meaningful feedback.
Participation does not automatically mean an athlete is nationally ranked.
How does The Northway camp work?
Our camp sessions consist of athletic testing, skill development, competitive basketball, and recruiting education.
Following the camp, families will have an opportunity to discuss their athlete’s performance, development priorities, and recruiting pathway through a complimentary consultation.
Strong performers may also earn consideration for our flagship invitation-only camp.
Does everyone receive scholarship opportunities?
No. Scholarship opportunities depend on an athlete’s ability, academic eligibility, graduation year, development, and the specific recruiting needs of college programs.
Our responsibility is to provide athletes with a competitive platform, honest evaluations, recruiting education, and opportunities to gain exposure.
We cannot guarantee that every athlete will attract college interest.
Does The Northway guarantee a scholarship offer?
No. College scholarship offers are awarded by colleges and universities, not by The Northway.
We provide athletes with opportunities to compete, receive evaluations, and gain exposure through our recruiting network.
Our goal is to help athletes put themselves in a better position to pursue college basketball opportunities.
What is basketball exposure?
Basketball exposure is the process of getting an athlete’s abilities seen and evaluated by individuals involved in recruiting and player identification.
Exposure can occur through competitive events, scouting evaluations, game film, player highlights, and communication with college programs.
However, exposure does not automatically lead to recruitment or scholarship offers.
At The Northway, we believe exposure should be supported by genuine player evaluation and performance.
How do I know if I have the potential to earn a college scholarship?
There is no single measurement that determines whether an athlete will eventually earn a scholarship.
College coaches evaluate physical tools, skill level, basketball IQ, competitiveness, academic performance, and long-term development potential.
Our camp provides an opportunity to assess several of these areas through athletic testing and competitive games.
Following the camp, families can discuss their athlete’s current level, strengths, weaknesses, and potential recruiting pathway during our complimentary consultation.
How do I know where I stand in the basketball recruiting market?
Understanding your position in the recruiting market requires an evaluation of your current abilities relative to other athletes in your graduation class.
At The Northway, we evaluate athletic measurements, skill level, game performance, basketball IQ, and long-term potential.
Through our scouting observations and post-camp consultation, we aim to help athletes understand their current level, where they may fit, and what areas they need to improve.
Our goal is to provide honest feedback rather than unrealistic expectations.
Your Title Goes What makes The Northway different from other basketball camps?
The Northway combines basketball development, competitive evaluation, scouting, and recruiting education into one experience.
Rather than focusing exclusively on skill training or competitive games, we aim to help athletes understand how their abilities translate to the next level.
Our camps feature NBA-style athletic testing, experienced basketball personnel, structured competition, and opportunities to receive feedback from our scouting team.
We also offer a complimentary post-camp consultation to help families better understand their athlete’s development and recruiting journey.
Will college scouts, professional scouts, or agencies be watching?
The Northway has relationships within the basketball scouting and recruiting community, including connections to college programs and basketball professionals.
Our scouting team evaluates athletes during camp, and standout performances may be shared with relevant contacts through our network.
However, attendance or individual evaluation by college coaches, professional scouts, or agencies is not guaranteed.
Our priority is to provide meaningful evaluation and help athletes gain appropriate exposure based on their abilities and performance.
