We believe that given spencer’s unique combination of skill and mobility, gives him the change to be an NBA PF depending on what he does at the next level. Spencer is a skilled forward, a highly regarded big whose modern skill set translates to the highest level of basketball.

 A great combination of skill, size, length, athleticism and IQ. Ahrens will be a great addition to winning,If you are looking for a prospect with a great base of potential who can eventually become a corner piece in your program & future pro, recruit Spencer.

Strengths

Skill|Shooting|Versatility

Spencer Ahrens is a 6’9 Forward whose biggest asset is his Versatility. Spencer versatile big who can stretch the floor, put the ball on the floor & create plays for himself and others.

Spencers skill set is perfect for todays bigs, he has a high IQ, he can handle the ball, he can shoot it with range and make plays for his teammates.

As a class of 2025 big, given his current set of tools, he has a chance to contribute to winning right now, he can thrive at the next level as a stretch 4 who is also a big threat in the P&R.

Spencer has one more year of prep basketball and we are excited to see how he continues to develop his game. He has a chance to become a high major prospect if he continues to add to his game. 

He will be playing for U play this summer, the best AAU program in the country.

Weaknesses

 Strength|Perimeter Defence|

Spencer is a good rebounder, he averaged 7 rebounds this season, 6th in the EYBL scholastic league. However, at the next level, he needs to get stronger in order to match up against bigs.

Spencer also lacks the lateral speed, P&R is big at the next level, he needs to work on his ability to switch onto guards to avoid being exploited in the P&R.
