Christopher Kumu is the most athletic point guard in the country. Chris has a high motor, he plays hard & a solid skill set.

Chris has been playing organized basketball for about 3 years, he is Uber talented with a lot of upside. Under the tutelage of coach Charles at Fort Erie, Chris is learning what it takes to be a point guard at the next level.

Given his combination of skill and athleticism, Kumu definitely has NBA potential.

Strengths

Explosive|Motor|

Kumu is arguably the most explosive athlete in this class, at 6’1. He can play above the rim and posses an extremely fast first step. Chris is also fearless, this year we saw him lead his team in scoring against Aj Dybantsa and Tyran Stokes. 

Weaknesses

 IQ|Shooting|

Kumu has a lot of potential but he needs to work on being a point guard. He is so athletic, he often relies on it to make plays that lead to turnovers. Kumu also needs to improve his shooting stroke and improve his ability to knock down shots from different spots on the floor.
