Prospect Projection

Josiah is arguably the most explosive guard in his class. At 6’4 with a 40 inch vertical, he is flying under the radar. He does not play for the big time AAU programs which is why he is flying under the radar, however he is a winner. Josiah has a lot of potential as a 3 and D guard at the next level. Given his strength and athleticism and his ability to shoot the ball, he has a lot of potential. If you have a great development program, he could be an asset for your program.

Strengths

At 6’4 Josiah has a motor defensively, he will pick up opposing guards full court, switch onto bigs and close out guards on rotations. Josiah can also shoot catch and shoo 3’s and pull ups in the mid range well.

Weaknesses

Decision making|

Josiah is not a guard you are going to look to run your offence through, he is not a high level decision maker. He also needs to expand on his ability to shoot the 3 in a variety of ways aside from just catch and shoot 3’s. If he can become an elite shooter on the move it will rally open up his game and highlight his athleticism.
