Tristan has NBA potential, given his combination of athleticism, height, length, skill set and his work ethic.Over the last 3 years he has made significant improvements to his game.Beckford is an intriguing prospect with a lot of potential, he is long, has a great motor, he is an elite mover & Uber athletic.

Most importantly, he is a high character athlete, the sky is the limit for him.

Strengths

Mobility|Motor|playing without the ball

Even though Tristan hasn’t fully developed a skillset to make him a go to scorer, he definitely has the potential for it.

Tristan is an elite mover, he’s great laterally, he can get up & down the floor & play above the rim. This gives him a lot of room for growth, the best players are usually some of the best athletes, (Jamal Murray, Shai-Gilgeous ) if he is able to continue to develop his skill set to an elite level, his combination of skill and athleticism will make him unguardable & a potential future pro.

Tristan has done a great job of developing his his shooting mechanics. He has become a much better catch and shoot shooter.

Tristan is a big threat playing without the ball in his hands, he is a transition monster and does a great job of moving back and forth on the baseline, in and out of the dunkers spot.

Weaknesses

 Finishing|Creativity|IQ

There is another level Tristan can take his finishing to, Beckford is a freak athlete and able to play above the rim, but in order to become a well rounded scorer he needs to improve his ability to finish around the rim in a variety of ways or play in the mid range. 

He can also improve his ability to make reads by learning how to read help defenders, attack angles and make plays for his teammates.
