Class of 2030 PG Tyson Darko is a rising star

Tyson Darko is quickly becoming a phenom. The Class of 2030 point guard has been making waves in the U.S. with AAU powerhouse Rondo Elite. With his IQ, skill, and deep shooting range, Darko has a real chance to be one of the best guards to come out of Canada.

The 6’2” point guard is a high-character, elite talent. Darko is a marksman who is extremely shifty and knows how to get wherever he wants on the floor. He has a high motor, rebounds well, and competes on both ends of the floor.

During the Middle School National Championships, Darko went on a crazy run. Through six games, he hit 20 threes, averaged 15 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 3.1 assists per game, and hit a game-winner in the finals to lead his team to a national championship.

Darko has a great support system around him and understands what it takes to reach the highest levels of basketball. Although it’s still early in his career, he has what it takes—on and off the court—to be great.

Be sure to keep Darko on your radar as one of the future cornerstones of Canadian basketball.
