Yousaf Ahmad’s name has been steadily rising over the past year, and in his first game at Peach Jam, he made a strong statement for UPLAY White in the EYCL.
Ahmad is a 6’7” big guard with a great feel for the game and a high IQ. He plays big, rebounds well, and pushes the ball in transition—either with the dribble or by consistently advancing it with outlet passes.
He can really shoot it, knocking down multiple threes off the catch and walking into a few off the dribble. Yousaf is also shifty with the ball in his hands and does a great job using his pace and angles to attack the rim.
Flying under the radar, Ahmad has significant upside and is definitely a prospect college coaches should keep a close eye on.
He finished yesterday’s game with 21 points on 9/13 FG, 3/5 3PT, along with 5 assists, 3 steals, and 3 blocks.
Yousaf currently attends King Heights Academy in Vaughan, Ontario.
